So, first thing's first...
Happy Holidays from Paperclip HQ!
As you can see, the Paperclip team are well and truly in the Christmas spirit!
Now if you have been following us on social media, you may have noticed us cluttering up your newsfeed with a stream of articles and blog posts about the app, our founders and the new Paperclip desktop version.
This year we have been featured in some great publications, both in print and online. If you haven't had chance to catch up on the last month's goss from Paperclip HQ, here's a quick rundown...
Last week we sat down with the guys at BQ Live to discuss the humble beginnings of Paperclip and how we have grown the marketplace since version 1.0. We were quizzed on everything from initial investment to what it's like building a business in Wales. The BQ Live team were also able to extract some pearls of wisdom from our CEO Rich who gave his thoughts on the country's booming tech sector and offered some great advice to budding entrepreneurs.
This isn't the first time we have been featured in the publication. Last year BQ Live published a cracking article about how Alan and Rich secured funding from Finance Wales and how they planned to grow Paperclip from start-up to household name.
The Sun on Sunday and more...
This week, however, it's all about The Sun (not the weather, obviously).
Paperclip was featured in the Mr. Money section of The Sun on Sunday as a way to 'Cash in on Christmas'. With such a huge readership, it was great to have such a candid breakdown of the app and what it can do for users looking to make a little extra cash around the festive period.
Paperclip also made two appearances in Alt Cardiff, a online publication reporting on what's hot in the Welsh capital. The first piece covered the launch of Paperclip desktop version and surge of new items added in 2017. The second was a profile of Rich!
As part of their 'Cardiff Characters' series, Rich sat down with journalist Chris Wallace to shed some light on his first steps in business and his connection to the city. Here Rich delves deeper into the importance of fostering entrepreneurial spirit and developing meaningful partnerships with other businesses.
Anything in the pipeline?
2018 promises to be another huge year for the Paperclip team. Come January, we have a great feature appearing in a leading mother & baby site and another write up in an international, bi-lingual tech blog.
Also, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the Paperclip 2017 'Year in Review' piece coming next week.
